She was born on the afternoon of Thanksgiving in 2010. I had intended on having a natural childbirth with her. I went two and half days of having contractions before my midwives decided that it was time to come in and have my baby girl. I then proceeded to the birthing center. I believe that it was about 7 in the evening. I was progressing with my labor, but slowly. After going about 24 hours of all natural labor and hitting a plateau and not being able to dilate past 9cm and doing anything and everything to try to get me to dilate that last centimeter. I decided that I have had enough of the pain that I was enduring and thought that it was best to head across the street to the hospital. I needed the pain medicine. I couldn't take anymore. So, after getting all settled in the hospital I got the epidural and was all giddy and happy. I rested and got about an hour of sleep and then came the time to introduce my baby to the world. I think that I pushed for 45 minutes tops and she was here. It was the hardest but most rewarding day of my life. I didn't have my second half there beside me. :( All in all, I was in labor for about 101 hours straight. :(

Lyric Anne was born at 1:49 P.M on Thursday, November 25, 2010. She weight 7 pounds and 9 ounces and was 20 1/4 inches long.
