I didn't watch the awards. I don't know who's closet I would raid. I love many celeb's styles.

What are your two favorite Christmas songs? What is your favorite Christmas movie?

My all time favorite Christmas song is Christmas Canon by Trans Siberian Orchestra.

My second favorite Christmas song is His Favorite Christmas Story by Capital Lights.

My favorite Christmas movie is any of the classic ones.

What are your Christmas traditions?

While I was growing up me and my younger siblings always got to open one Christmas gift on Christmas Eve from my Grama and my Popa. And it was always a new pair of pajamas. And after we open the pajamas we almost always went into the bedroom and change into our jammies. And then we would wear them home that evening. 

Traditions that I hope to start with my family...

Get Lyric's pictures taken with Santa.

Listen to Christmas music.

Go look at Christmas lights.

Bake cookies/candies/brownies.

Decorate a Gingerbread House.

Watch Christmas movies.

Buy pajamas for every member of our family and open on Christmas Eve.

Display a Nativity Scene.

Make treats for Santa.

Make a Christmas breakfast on Christmas morning.

Why am I thankful for Blogging?

I am thankful for blogging because it is one way that my family back home can see how me, Chris, and Lyric are doing and what is going on in our lives. Even if I am not that great at keeping my blog updated. It has been hard trying to keep up as we moved and just got our internet up and running.

I am also thankful for blogging because I have met some amazing people. And inspiring people. And through these people I have found some amazing projects that I am going to attempt to make in the near future.

2 on Tuesday #10 Pet Peeves

What are your pet peeves?

With Chris it is when he takes his clothes off of the hangers and leaves the empty hangers hanging in the closet. I would like them to be put in the hanger basket that we have in our closet.

Not having a made up bed when me and Chris are going to bed. If it isn't made when we are getting ready for bed, I will make it before we get into the bed and then we will get into the bed. It's just me.

I think that these are pet peeves? Haha.

2 on Tuesday #8 Halloween

Tell me your 2 favorite Halloween costumes! Did you celebrate Halloween this year?

No, we did not celebrate Halloween this year. I wanted to but it was just too cold out and Lyric wouldn't remember it anyways. Although, I wouldn't have minded trick or treating with her and Chris. But Virginia has laws for trick or treaters. You could only trick or treat from 6:00 to 8:00 and if you were caught trick or treating and over the age of 12 you could get charged with a misdemeanor. I mean really!?! Way to take the fun out of a holiday. Plus it started to rain when we went for a walk. 

My two favorite costumes that I have gone as for Halloween in the past is when I went as Pocahontas, Princess Leah from Star Wars, and a baby. I wish I had pictures of me and those costumes, but they are probably back home somewhere. 

Next year, I hope to find a pumpkin big enough to carve out and be able to put Lyric in it for pictures. I would cut out circles toward the bottom of the pumpkin where her legs would be able to be out of the pumpkin. I wanted to do it this year, but the pumpkins were way over priced. I mean, we would have been able to find a large pumpkin back home for just a few bucks. But not more than 20 dollars.   

2 on Tuesday #7 Favorite Pictures

What are your two favorite pictures of yourself?

I am not looking my best in this picture. But it is one that I truly cherish. This was the day that I gave birth to my beautiful and amazing baby girl, Lyric Anne Frontino. 
 
This and the night before were probably one of the hardest days of my life. 
For more than one reason... 

I did not have my husband with me there, by my side to give birth to our first born. He was where he needed to be doing what he was supposed to be doing. He was training to become a United States Marine. And as much as I would have loved for him to be there with me the last few months of my pregnancy and was able to be there to be my coach and support for my Bradley Classes. Chris left for MCT school ten days before I went into labor. And as much as we tried to get Lyric to come the ten days we had together before he left again, nothing helped. 

 

 But in the end, I would say that I was happy no matter what. She was healthy and just precious. Perfect!

  

 This last weekend I had a blast doing my first boudoir photo shoot. I was so nervous when I got to her studio, but after getting my hair and my make up done I was feeling much better about my shoot. And Laura made me feel even more better once we started shooting. She turned on the radio/CD player to loosen me up, which it did.

 I will for sure be doing another photo shoot like this again.

Goodwood Barbecue Company

 One of my favorite restaurants back home. They have the best double dipped chicken crispers and pulled pork sandwiches. 

Whitewater Pizza & Pasta

Best pizza and pastas. Preferably their baked pastas. Oh, and their sandwiches are delicious.
