Boy, does Lyric like to go outside!

She is constantly wanting to go outside. Even after we just got back in from going outside. 

The thing is though, is she wants to go outside with daddy most of the time. She will go to the sofa and grab his hand and try pulling him off of the sofa to go outside. 

She won't do that with me during the day. It will start right after Chris gets home from work. It is cute to watch. 

While we are outside, she loves to run around and look for birds.

 But especially look for birds. 

Michael doesn't seem to mind the outdoors. He sure doesn't mind the grass, unlike Lyric. 

Summer Bucket List

1. Go on a family picnic at the park

2. Go on a picnic at the beach

3. Build a sandcastle

4. Slumber party in the living room

5. Family photo shoot with fun props

6. Go to the zoo

7. Go to the aquarium

8. Go to a museum or two

9. Make homemade bubbles

10. Make homemade silly putty

11. Make homemade ice cream

12. Make and play balloon ping pong

13. Have a date night with Lyric/Mommy 

14. Have a date night with Lyric/Daddy

15. Go to the petting zoo

16. Have fun and relax!

2. Get my Website up and going

3. Spend at least an hour everyday at the beach or outside

4. Continue decorating the house

5. Make a photo book of Lyric's baby pictures

6. Get Lyric's six month pictures taken

7. Watch a Meteor Shower (if there is one)

8. Buy Ice Cream! from and Ice Cream Truck

9. Wash the car

10. Detail the car

11. Make a schedule for Lyric

Catching Up...

My Grama's Visit 

While my grama was here last month we went all week non-stop. We went to the zoo! 

We went to the Virginia Boardwalk and my grama, Lyric and myself had our pictures taken at an Old Time photo booth thingy.

We were dressed as Southern Belles. And boy, did Lyric look 

B-E-A-U-T-Ful!

And the way you get into the outfits was amazing! They had the backs cut so all you had to do is slip them on and they tied in the back. Just like a hospital gown. I can't believe it was that easy!

We went to the beach!

We found the MacArthur Center and while we were there we found the three-story mall! Yes, a three story mall! I couldn't believe it! There was a level pretty much for a theater. While we were there we had the best milkshakes!

We also went to Colonial Wiliamsburg. It was a neat place. 

I think that probably about sums up our week that we had. I was sad to see that she had to go, I had fun. Getting lost, wandering new places, and going in many many circles.
