Five Question Friday #7

1. Vow renewal ceremonies-yay or nay?

I want to do a vow renewal ceremony because me and Chris didn't get to have the ceremony that we both wanted. We went to the courthouse the night before he left for MCT and neither of our families were there. I also would love to be able to be a bride for a day. I want to have the perfect wedding dress, my hair done, and my nails done. I want to have my family and Chris' family there and have the most perfect day ever.

2. What sound/s annoy you the most?

The sound that annoys me the most is a bee. The buzzing of the bee! I can't stand it!

3. If you had to pick, would you have only all boys, or only all girls for kids?

I don't know if I could pick. I have a baby girl right now. I think that I would rather have all girls though, because I already have everything that I need for a baby girl.

4. Do you believe in alternative medicine?

I don't know. I believe in whatever helps you to feel better faster so that you can get on with your life.

5. Would you take a family member's children and raise them if they needed it?

Abso-stinkin'-lutely!! Of course, I would need to consider the situation and determine what is best for our family, but if a family member's children were slated to go to foster care, I would take them in.

I know there are a lot of fabulous foster families out there, but I also know there are some awful ones. I would want to protect those innocent children from anymore upheaval in their lives by taking the chance of sending them to a foster home that is less than ideal.

1. Facebook or Twitter?
I like Facebook better. I don't care for Twitter. The only reason that I got it was because my Uncle had it.

2. Hard Tacos or Soft Tacos?
I prefer soft tacos.

3. Gardening or crafting?
Both. I would love to have a garden and I am wanting to do more with crafting. I want a sewing machine so that I could make the dresses that I am seeing all over the internet for Lyric.

4. Fruit or vegetables?
Fruit. I love my vegetables for sure, but I love the sweetness of fruit.

5.  Motorcycle or bicycle?
I haven't ridden my bicycle in ages. I would love to ride again though. I haven't ridden a motorcycle either. Although, I wanted to at one point. But can't now that I have Lyric.

1.   My favorite color is  pastels and rainbow colors! They are bright and they each have their own meaning to me.

2.  My travel destination of choice is I don't know. I will go almost anywhere.

3.  My favorite food is pizza, and mac and cheese.

6.  My dirty little secret is I believe that I am a child at heart. I wish that I didn't have to grow up.

7.  Something friends might say about me is that I  hmmmm... I don't know. What would my friends say about me? Should I be worried?

{1} Who would you call if you had to get bailed out of jail?
I would call my Grama. I don't know if she would actually come and bail me out of jail but I would hope that she would. :)
{2} If you were a superhero what would your hero name be?I don't know what my hero name would be.
{3} What do you think is one of your best qualities?I am friendly and caring. I think that those could be one of my best qualities.
{4} What song would you pick to be your own personal theme song?There are too many songs that I would like as my own personal theme song. I don't know what one I would actually choose.
{5} What celebrity do you think is most over rated?
I don't follow all the drama with the celebrities. So, I don't know which celebrity is most over rated.

Hoo are You #4

1. Have you ever attended a professional sports game?

I have. I don't remember when it was, but it was when I was visiting my Uncle John in Seattle. He took me and my youngest sister I believe to a Mariners All Star game.

2. Have you ever been to a concert and if so which one was your 

ultimate favorite performance?

I have been to a few. I think that my favorite would be any that are outdoors. My absolute favorite ones are the God and Country Family Festival that we have back home. It is a free concert and they always have a Christian band there that performs and then after the concert they have a huge firework display. 

3. Have you ever been to Disneyland or Disney World?
I have been to Disneyland twice. Once I went with my family and then I went again with band for our tour.

4. What is your favorite theme park?
So far it has got to be Disneyland, and Sea World closely followed by Universal Studios.

5. Do you have a favorite vacation spot?
Nope. Not yet.

Five Question Friday #6

1. If your husband had the BIG V and you got pregnant what would your first reaction be? For the dudes, what would your first reaction be if your wife told you she was pregnant after the Big V?

I don't know what I would do exactly. I think that I would be shocked. Because I would have thought one thing and then it turns out that he didn't do it.

2. Best memory about this summer so far.

I have gotten a lot closer to a family than I thought that I would. We are actually trying to find a house that we can all live together in. And then maybe even buy one after living together for a while.

3. How often do you change your sheets? Your kids sheets?

I try to change our sheets at least once a week. Lyric's sheets I tend to have to change more frequent as her diaper leaks through about every other day.

4. Having just gone through TSA, would you rather have a full-body scan or a pat-down?

I think that I would rather have a pat-down as with a full body scan they can see you naked.

5. Since it is fair time...what's your favorite fair (county or state) memory?
I remember the Terry Clark concert that I went to with a friend and his wife. It was I believe one of the first concerts that I saw at the fair.

1. Do you eat raw cookie dough?
Yes!! I sure do! I looooooove cookie dough and don’t care if I might get sick from it. I might get sick from a lot of things, but I still eat them.

2. When you get online for the first time of the day… what site do you immediately head to?
Facebook or Gmail.

3. What was your favorite pet as a child and why?
My favorite pet as a child would have been my grama's dog Willie and my dog Keesha. I loved these two dogs with all of my heart and I was sad to see them die.

4. If you had a snail that could magically grant wishes, what would you name it?
I don't know what I would name a snail. The name that pops into my head is Grant.

5.  How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop?
I usually can only make it about 5 before I suck on it and until it is thin enough to bite and eat the yummy Tootsie Roll inside!

Fill In Blank Friday #6

1.   One of my happiest moments ever was   the day I found out that I was pregnant. And the day that I got to see Chris for the first time in three months. The day he graduated from Boot Camp.

2.  Summer is wedding season and weddings are  lovely for two people who are madly in love and for their family and friends whom you love as well. 

3.  This summer the weather has been beautiful and warm. We have had a couple of great thunderstorms.

4.  My summer food of choice has been a burger right of of the grill.

5.  My summer uniform has been dresses, pants, and capris.

6.  If I could spend the entire summer in one location I would choose Australia! I have heard that it is beautiful there and I would love to see all the animals!

7.  My summer anthem is   "Dirt Road Anthem" by Jason Aldean.

Wee Bit #3

{one} what is your dream job? I have a few... I would love to be self-employed and make baby boutique items. I would also love to be a self taught photographer during my free times and either a Pediatric nurse or either a kindergarden, first, second, or third grade teacher.
{two} how many best friends do you have? I have friends. I don't know that I have a best friend. There are some friends that I am closer too, but I don't know if we would call each other best friends.

{three} what’s the longest road trip you’ve ever taken? I don't know the longest road trip that I have ever taken. I don't remember very many road trips.

{four} if you had to do one single thing every day for the next year, what would it be? I would have to think about this one for a while. I think that it would be to go to the beach and walk for an hour and a half everyday and spend time in the water with Lyric.
{five} what’s one story your family always tells about you? One year when we were at the beach, my grandpa + uncle were fishing ALL day. At the end of day, they hadn’t caught one single fish. I came out of the ocean from swimming + was talking with my mom when a fish fell out of my hair. It was the most disturbing thing that has ever happened to me… but SO hilarious.

{six} how did your parents pick your name? My mom told me that I was named after a patient that she had while working in pediatrics.
{seven} what’s the one thing that scares you more than anything? Not living my life how I would like to. I don't want to miss out on anything in my life because I didn't make the right decision.
{eight} are you a good cook?

 I think that I am a good cook most of the time. There are some things that I have the worst luck at cooking.

{nine} where do you see yourself in 20 years? Hopefully I will be successfully making and selling the boutique bows that I want to learn how to make. And hopefully I will be successful at taking pictures and my editing.

{ten} what’s your best childhood memory? Playing with my popa. Dancing on his feet. Playing all his many instruments. Flying airplanes and getting them stuck in many different places. And learning to ride my bicycle.

We Want To Know #8

{1} What would you do with an extra $1000 a month? I would put about half of it into a savings account and then I would probably be more into buying a few more outfits and shoes for myself. Maybe I would get my nails done too once here and there, then maybe I could quit biting my fingernails.

{2} What category of blogger do you think you best fall under? I don't know.

{3} What is your go to solution when you are having a bad hair day? Pull it up into a pony or a barrette. 

{4} If you were a Crayon, what color would you be? I don't know what color I would want to be. I like too many colors. 

{5} They say love is in the little things. What is a little thing someone does to show you love? Chris would rub my back and my neck. I love it when he does that. Especially when we are getting ready for bed, or when I have had a bad and long day.

I would. Although, I would be ready for the other person to not believe me.

Either way. Soda is soda.

It all depends.

Enjoy it as they grow up fast.

Fill In Blank Friday #5

1. I am a night person, who enjoys sleeping in when I can, but unfortunately with having a daughter, she is always getting up early in the morning. I would rather sleep in to at least 0800 or 0830 rather than 0530 to 0700. 

2. My favorite Pandora stations are Taylor Swift, Lady A, really, anything country. Sometimes Pop.

3. 3 of my "must-have" songs for a road trip playlist are anything Glee, Lady A, and Taylor Swift. Really, if there is music playing, then I am happy.

4. My favorite pattern is zebra print!

5. My favorite perfume is anything from Victoria's Secret and one by Faith Hill.

6. Rules are usually put in place for a reason and should be followed.

7. My most overused phrase or punctuation is I don't know. 

Wee Bit #2

{one} what’s the #1 most played song on your iPod (or whatever you use)? Anything that is by Taylor Swift.
{two} what’s your favorite type of exercise? Just walking.
{three} what’s your least favorite mode of transportation? Public Transportation. I am scared to death to ride on a bus or a taxi by myself. If I am with another person, preferably a guy then I will be alright to ride on the bus or a taxi. Otherwise I would rather walk.
{four} if you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what would it be? I think that I would like to stay in my early 20's. 
{five} when you have 30 minutes of free time, what do you use it to do? I would probably use it to clean up a little bit. 
{six} what do you miss the most about being a kid? I don't know what I miss the most about being a kid. I think that it would be not having to worry about much.
{seven} when was the last time you were nervous? Just this last weekend. We went to Water Country USA and I said that I would ride their newest ride (Vanish Point) I was scared to death! The wait alone made me nervous and the kid that was in front of me telling me all about the ride and after hearing everything that he was saying about the ride was making me more and more nervous. Almost to the point that I didn't want to ride it. But I did anyways.
{eight} what was the first thing you bough with your own money when you were young? I don't remember what the first thing that I bought with my own money when I was young. A few years ago when I got my first "real" job I bought an iPod. The 80 gig video iPod. And then the next day at summer school it got stolen. :( I didn't even have it 24 hours and it was gone. I wish that I still had it. I was so excited to have had it. 
{nine} what is your favorite month of the year? I look forward to October. It's my birthday month, Halloween. I love carving pumpkins and painting them. I love the colors of the changing leaves. Sometimes it isn't too cold nor is it too hot.
{ten} what are 3 songs from the soundtrack of your life? I do not know. I have never thought about this.

I think that I am most like myself is when I am with my baby girl and playing with her. And when I am goofy with Chris.

Finally, we are a happy family.

I have so many. I think that most of my childhood memories come from my Popa. I remember playing his tuba, dancing on his feet, flying kites, flying airplanes, learning to ride my bicycle.
