2 on Tuesday #7 Favorite Pictures

What are your two favorite pictures of yourself?

I am not looking my best in this picture. But it is one that I truly cherish. This was the day that I gave birth to my beautiful and amazing baby girl, Lyric Anne Frontino.
This and the night before were probably one of the hardest days of my life.
For more than one reason...

I did not have my husband with me there, by my side to give birth to our first born. He was where he needed to be doing what he was supposed to be doing. He was training to become a United States Marine. And as much as I would have loved for him to be there with me the last few months of my pregnancy and was able to be there to be my coach and support for my Bradley Classes. Chris left for MCT school ten days before I went into labor. And as much as we tried to get Lyric to come the ten days we had together before he left again, nothing helped.
But in the end, I would say that I was happy no matter what. She was healthy and just precious. Perfect!

This last weekend I had a blast doing my first boudoir photo shoot. I was so nervous when I got to her studio, but after getting my hair and my make up done I was feeling much better about my shoot. And Laura made me feel even more better once we started shooting. She turned on the radio/CD player to loosen me up, which it did.
I will for sure be doing another photo shoot like this again.

**These photos are not mine. They are the property of L. Evans Photography**

  1. I think the most amazing pictures are taken right after we give birth!!

    Your sexy shots are great!

  2. I agree with Connie. I love that first cuddle pic. My baby was early and had to be taken away from me right after birth so I didn't get a picture like that. =(

I love those boudoir pictures! I'm sure hubby will too!!

  3. Great pictures! I think it would be so fun to do a boudoir shoot!

  4. I also gave birth alone, because my husband is in the Navy. With our oldest son, he missed his birth by five days, with the youngest I think it was also five days! (I just realized that as I type this comment. LOL)

And I LOVE those boudoir pictures! I don't think I'm brave enough to do them, but I wish I were.

  5. Those pictures of you and your daughter and simply beautiful!

  6. I am sad for your story of giving birth without your hubby there, but love how you thought of it!!

  7. what a wonderful picture of you and lyric. and the boudoir pics are spicy! great for you for having the courage.

sorry i am just now coming by - life has been crazy! thank you so much for participating!
