Fill In Blank Friday #16

1.   My current obsession is anything sweet and salty.

2.  Lyric and Chris make me happy.

3.  My greatest strength is my ability to multi-task with being a stay at home mom.

4.  Facebook and blogging is my greatest weakness.

5.  My life is wonderful! I couldn't ask for a better life. I love my family, my hubby, and my amazing daughter!

6.  In high school I was not popular, nor was I an outcast.

7.  When I'm super tired I am silly, and can't stop talking, or moving, or picking on Chris. Almost to the point to drive him nuts.

Five Question Friday #15

1. Do you apologize to your kids if you're wrong?
I will when Lyric is older and understands a little bit more.

2. Do you have a class ring, Letterman's jacket, or similar obscenely priced high school "must have"?
I sure do! I have a class ring, and a Letterman's jacket.

3. If you could be one age for the rest of your life, what age would you choose?
I would like to stay in my 20's. I am only 20 right now, until Sunday! Sunday I will be 21!

4. What is your favorite (unused) baby name?
I love Lyric's name!
If I have a boy, I want to name him Michael Justin. And if I have a girl I would like to name her Lyla Marie I think.

5. If you could make your child like something what would it be?
I don't know. There isn't much that Lyric does not like.

MilSpouse Fill-In #18

  1. I always feel like I’m a child. I don't have an exact age. You try being with a baby every day. I'm not complaining. I love being with Lyric everyday.
  2. I wish my family understood better when I tell them that when I say that I am okay, I really mean that I am okay.
  3. If you saw me when I am in dressy clothes and make-up, you’d think I was a total girly-girl, but if you saw me when jeans rolled up like capris and flip flops, you’d think I was a tomboy through-and-through.
  4. I feel like I’m in a totally different universe when I am spending the days with Lyric. We just play and play and play. When she is down for a nap I feel like I'm in a normal universe again. Because then, I work on household chores, and homework, and other things.
  5. In honor of this being MFF #60… 60 months ago  (exactly 5 years ago, so September 30, 2006) I lived in Nampa, Idaho and my life was totally different because I was in my first year of high school, trying to get over a year long sickness that I had and getting ready to move to Boise, Idaho where I would start my high school career over at a new school.

We Want To Know #17

Photobucket

{1} What is one thing (food or drink) that you MUST have everyday?

One drink that I must have almost every day now has become Dr. Pepper. I wish that I didn't want to have it everyday. I was doing so good about not drinking soda unless we had gone out to eat. That is the only time that I would rather have soda. But, oh well.

{2} What is your "go to" food when you don't feel well/need comfort?
It would be ice cream. Any kind of ice cream. But preferably cookie dough or something like cookie dough. I do prefer Ben and Jerry's over any other brand of ice cream.

{3} Is there a dish that you make that people request when they visit your home/a family favorite?
No, not yet.

{4} What are 3 foods you have TRIED and do not like and will NEVER eat again?
1  -- Sushi. Disgusting!
2  -- Prunes. Anything prunes.
3  --Can't think of a third.

{5} What's one thing that you love to eat that most people would think is weird and/or gross?
Well, I haven't done it lately... But when I was pregnant with Lyric I had the strangest craving. It was for a cherry icee and flaming lime cheetos. Makes me want to have both again.
